Can The Celtics Franchise relive history?
Note: 8 of the 16 champions won by the Boston Celtics have been won against the L.A./Minneapolis Lakers. With wins in the
1958-'59 (defeated Minneapolis Lakers 4-0) 1961-'62 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-3) 1962-'63 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-2) 1964-'65 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-1) 1965-'66 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-3) 1967-'68 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-2) 1968-'69 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-3) 1983-'84 (defeated Los Angeles Lakers 4-3)
If the Celts can win against the Pistons tonight they can relive history and probably and hopefully make history. My pick is the Boston Celtics all the way in my opinion to have the best record deserves a champion(unlike the NewEngland Patriots). The Lakers are a playoff team but History will happen again and the L.A. Lakers will once again lose to the Boston Celtics like they did 8 times before.

Who Wants It More?

The Boston Celtics seem to be going for it all. In my opinion The celtics are going to play hard and go hard to win against the Pistons to enter the NBA Finals. With the first the play off NBA East finals games happening May 20. The Pistons Oviously are a play-off team who are going to also go for it all. Durning the regular season the Celts have beaten the Pistons 2 of 3 games they have played.
The San Antonio Spurs and The L.A. Lakers are two dynasty that will be a great series between the two teams. In my opinion the Spurs will take this series over the MVP Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. The Spurs are the winners of four rings in the last 9 years even though the Lakers have had 3 straight championships from 2000-2002 when Shaquille O'Neal was apart of the team. Apparently the Spurs to me are the better play-off team. Even though durning the regular season the series between the teams is tied 2-2. Defense will ultimately be the victor of this series. You know what they say, "Defense wins championships".

Go Hard Or Go Home
The San Antonio Spurs are in a must win situation towards the Hornets. With Chris Paul averaging 25 points and 11.3 assists in the post season. The defendinng Champs are down 3-2 with nothing but ambition to win this championship. Apparently the Spurs have never won a championship on an even numbered year.Their championships have come in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007. But what's interesting is that, in the five seasons since 1999 that they didn't win, they only made the Conference Finals once in 2001. They lost in the First Round in 2000 and lost in the Conference Semis in 2002, 2004 and 2006.
